Privacy Policy

The short version

This website is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no comment fields, and no tracking. We do not set cookies, we do not run analytics, and we do not build a profile of you for visiting.

What we collect here

Nothing that identifies you, by design. There is no form on this site that sends data to us — the contact page lists email addresses and leaves the choice to write to us entirely with you.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser user-agent, requested page, timestamp) as an ordinary part of serving the site and defending it from abuse. We do not use those logs to identify individuals or to market to you.

Fonts

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. If you would rather that did not happen, the fonts can be self-hosted — tell us and we will move them.

If you email us

When you write to an address listed on this site, we receive whatever you put in the message, along with your email address. We use it to answer you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Because this site collects essentially nothing, the answer is usually "only the emails you have sent us". To ask, or to have that correspondence deleted, write to hello@kcnex.com.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. If a change is significant — for example, if we ever add analytics — we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing it in.
